A summary of Main Documentary Requirements
1. RT-PCR negative result (nose or saliva) taken within 48 hours from arrival
2. Valid ID with address
3. For tourist invited by local resident:
- Acceptance letter issued by the mayor of your destination city or municipality
For tourist not invited by local resident/ walk-in tourists:
- Booking confirmation from DOT- accredited establishments for at least 2 nights

Step by step:
Step 1: Book your Flight
Choose your flight dates and book your ticket. Take a screenshot of the flight details, you will need this later.
You can enter Siargao through Sayak Airport (Siargao) and Surigao Airport.
Step 2: Book your Accommodation
You have a lot of options when it comes to accommodations in Siargao. Make a reservation for a minimum of two (2) nights at a DOT-accredited accommodation.

Step 3: Get Swab or Saliva Test
You can choose between a saliva or a nose swab RT-PCR test. Go to an accredited RT-PCR swab center or Philippine Red Cross (PRC) for the Saliva-based RT-PCR Test.
Test prices vary from 2,000- 5,000. There are also drive-thru options that are relatively safe because you stay within the confines of your own vehicle.

NOTE: Children below 17 years old and below are exempted from presentation of negative result on Swab or Saliva RT-PCR Test.
Step 4: Wait for your test results
Depending on the testing center, results take anywhere between 12 hours to 48 hours to get released. You will usually get your results through email! Make sure the email address you provided is very clear.
Step 5: Register for an S-Pass
Apply for an S-Pass (Safe, Swift and Smart Passage) before traveling to Siargao.

Step 6: Get your e-HEALTH Pass
You also need to register for an e-HEALTH Pass. This will serve as your entry pass to Siargao and all of the island's establishments.
You will be asked to enter your basic information and fill out a health declaration form. The form will look like this:
After you've filled out the form, click 'Generate' to get your QR code.

Step 7: Email your travel requirements
Remember the confirmation bookings and documents you saved in Steps 1 to 6?

2. Negative PCR-Test Result taken within 48 hours from arrival
3. Valid ID with address
4. Copy of PENDING S-Pass application
5. e-HEALTH Pass with QR Code
6. For tourist invited by local resident:
- Acceptance letter issued by the Mayor of your destination city or municipality
For tourist not invited by local resident/ walk-in tourists:
- Booking confirmation from DOT-accredited establishments for at least 2 nights
7. Acceptance Letter (If destination is General Luna)
Prepare all the documents listed above in soft copy format and email to sdntourism@gmail.com
Step 8: Wait for the approval of your travel application
Wait for the email if your application to travel is approved. You will get a reply within the day you sent your email.
Step 9: Pack-up and Enjoy!
Print out your e-HEALTH Pass, approved travel application, flight documents and accommodation bookings. Don’t forget your valid ID as well. Voila, you are all set to travel!
NOTE: If you’re planning to stay more than five days, note that you are required to undergo an Antigen test at your own expense on the fifth day.
