Europe's Safest Countries for Travel

Updated: Nov 18, 2021

Hey travelers! If you are planning to visit Europe, I'm sure safety is a huge concern for you. So if you're wondering where to go on your next vacation, be sure to check out below the safest countries in Europe!

Spain, France, Italy, and Poland are among the safest EU countries to visit now according to European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC).

These countries have reported less than 50 Coronavirus infections per 100,000 people, with a test positivity rate of less than 4% in the last two weeks.

Travelers to or from the countries, particularly the areas mentioned above, are no longer discouraged due to low risk of infection. As long as these areas remain on the safe list, this is great news for anyone planning trips during the fall or winter months.

Travelers who can show proof of full vaccination or recovery from the virus are exempt from testing and self-isolation. In some cases, they may be required to fill out an entry form. Everyone should also check the entry rules of their destination country before traveling to avoid any confusion.

Spain, France, Italy, and Poland have all been placed on the green list due to successful vaccination campaigns. The requirement to carry a COVID-19 health pass has also helped improve the epidemiological situation.

Currently, all people including tourists must present a valid Italian Green Pass which is an extension of the EU Digital COVID-19 Certificate. Aside from that, the pass is required for all modes of transportation.

Travelers to France must also have a valid EU Digital COVID-19 Certificate or an equivalent showing they have been vaccinated, recovered, or tested negative within the last 48 hours.
