Cebu is well-known for its wonderful Filipino food. One dish that Cebu has become famous for is its BBQs! Barbeque, also known as BBQ, is a typical Filipino street food that is made of pork or chicken meat or giblets that have been skewered on sticks and cooked over charcoal till done to perfection!
BBQ is typically served with hanging rice, or puso in the native dialect. The rice is cooked in a special way, it is placed and cooked inside the woven palm leaves that is shaped like a diamond. BBQ restaurants also provide a variety of special sauces that enhance the flavor of the dish which make their customers keep coming back!
