Saliva test now allowed as entry requirement to Boracay

Good news travelers!

The Boracay Inter-Agency Task Force just approved the saliva spit test by the Red Cross. The saliva PCR test is non-invasive as you only have to spit to perform the test. No more swabs that need to be inserted into your nose.

There are more than twenty Red Cross Service Points to choose from in the Metro Manila vicinity making saliva tests a very convenient choice.

THE DOT reminds tourists and stakeholders of the need to still strictly ensure minimum health and safety protocols such as wearing of a mask and face shield, physical distancing, hand sanitizing, and booking or operating in DOT-accredited establishments, among others to protect both the tourists, tourism workers and the residents of our host communities.
